First line of code
info-beamer was created in January 2012. You can see the first git commit on github here: https://github.com/dividuum/info-beamer/commit/870b4cc6930afd18ddf5cc37c88136d02be90311. It was initially called gpn-info, as it was developed with the intention of having a live-coding capable information tool for a local hacker conference called GPN. It was renamed to info-beamer on Febrary 17th 2012.
Back then the Pi didn't even exist, making info-beamer older than the Raspberry Pi. Once the Pi was release, a special port (info-beamer pi) was created with the goal of using all the hardware acceleration features (OpenGLES / H264 video decoder) available.
The first Pi specific line of code was written on January 11th 2013 with a first release published in March 2013.
